Since getting back from vacation, we’ve been enjoying the lovely Spring weather in Colorado. Which is similar to the nice spring we experienced in Galveston, just minus the mosquitos and killer allergies for Jordan. Allergy season hasn’t quite started here yet.
We’ve also unfortunately been battling a cold-ish-flu-ish bug. Which has been absolutely miserable. Neither Jordan nor Jaxton have caught it (knock on wood). And hopefully it stays that way.
Poor Jaylee sounds like a 30-year smoker, and has been taking naps everyday (which is very unusual for her). She’s also been waking in the night crying and coughing, which makes everyone very sad. Thankfully, its Easter. So we’ve been trying to do fun things that also keep us close to home in case we tire out quickly.
We went to our church’s Easter fun day today. They had lots of fun stuff for the kids. Jaylee enjoyed the bouncy castle, and getting to pet the rabbits and goats. There was also an Easter egg hunt, but we didn’t make it that long. So we’ll have to settle with just our little egg hunt tomorrow.
Jaylee went to the Easter festival in her tiger halloween costume. Because, why not? She was the cutest tiger around.
We did an impromptu photo shoot as well after we got home, because the kids were just looking too cute. Its so nice to be married to a talented photographer – our impromptu shoots are so easy and not stressful. If they work, then awesome! If they don’t? Oh well!
Today, they worked. And we got some great photos which I’ll share more of tomorrow.
I hope everyone reading this (hi mom!) has a great weekend, and that your kids will be at least half as cute as mine. Trust me, its a high bar.
